Bio/Description

Meg builds and enhances opportunities for student-alumni networking and experiential and educational career development activities. She oversees the City Trek program and Princeton in Washington.

Meg provides one-on-one advising across a broad range of interests, covering topics including:

  • Exploring career options
  • Internship and job search planning

She advises students interested in all career fields, and in particular enjoys speaking with students about:

  • Education, policy, politics, social service and public service careers
  • Communications and media careers

I enjoy: Anything related to food and wine! I love to try out new culinary projects, check out the newest restaurants and arrange elaborate charcuterie boards.

I’m looking forward to my new position because: I love talking to students about their futures and helping them connect their academic interests to the world outside Princeton.

My first job after graduation: A waitress at a fancy restaurant in the West Village. I had a great time waiting on celebrities and getting to know New York before figuring out my long-term career path.

The best way to start my day is: Walking into town for a morning coffee with my husband, 1 year old son and big goofy dog.

I could give a 40-minute presentation with absolutely no preparation on: The intricacies of the New York City subway system and how to make a perfect risotto.
