I enjoy: Baking cakes to eat with tea, reading, and jotting down my thoughts/questions/tasks on Post-it Notes.
My first job after graduation: This one!
An internship/experiential opportunity that helped shape my career path: I was an undergraduate assistant for Professor Kernighan's Computer's in Our World course during senior year. Hosting office hours showed me how much I enjoyed working with students in an educational setting and is one of the things that made me think seriously about working in a school environment.
What’s special about the place I grew up? I grew up in a large lusophone and hispanophone community which helped me keep up my home language (Portuguese). We also always had really good food available.
What skill would you like to master? I'd like to know how to garden, especially in small spaces so I can do it anywhere.
