What's the most underrated/overlooked resource or service offered by the Center for Career Development?

I think Career Compass is a great resource for finding alumni in specific fields that some students may not know about yet!

What advice would you give to someone considering your major/industry/area of expertise?

Don’t be afraid to explore new classes and experiences that are not necessarily art-related—for example, classes about science, history, and different languages can all help you grow as a person and therefore, as an artist. By cultivating our thoughts, we gain a better idea of what to express through art. Be open to exploring new mediums, too!

How has your idea of a career or your career interests changed in the past 10 months?

I am adopting a more flexible and open approach to learning new things. I like creating media a lot, so I am excited to see how I might incorporate video, graphic design, communication, and social media into my career in the future!

In my free time, I like to...

Spend time with friends and family, dance, bake, write poetry, write stories, write songs, listen to music, learn new skills, skateboard, and more!

One thing I'm looking forward to this semester is...

Probably everything! But to pick one, I am excited to make a dress representing memories for my Junior Work!
