Join us for employer site visits in New York City, a meal and a dining etiquette lesson, a professional attire workshop and shopping trip, careers in Hollywood and more. 

Wintersession is a free, two-week conference/festival that provides unexpected, active and intriguing non-graded learning and growth opportunities. The Center for Career Development's programs are open to undergraduate and graduate students. 

Passion to Profession: A Workshop on Social Impact Career Exploration (Jan. 16)

In this workshop, you'll identify your interests and core values concerning social impact, and how they can guide you toward fulfilling work. You will practice articulating the issues you care about and the causes or missions you aspire to contribute to. 

Dress for Success for SIFP/FLI Students (Jan. 18)

Learn how you can dress in professional way that is also authentic. This session will help you think about what you might get during the Dress for Success: Shopping Trip. 

Beyond the Lab: Applying Your Research Experience to a Non-Research Career (Jan. 19)

Reflect upon and practice how to write - and - talk about your academic research to nonacademic audiences. You will come away from the session with a clear sense of transferable skills, structured resume content and an action plan for pursuing internship or career opportunities outside academia.

Dress for Success: Shopping Trip to JCPenney (Jan. 21)

Join a shopping trip to JCPenney in Quaker Bridge Mall. All participants can receive a fashion consultation (including measurement), and will receive coupons that can be applied to already discounted merchandise at the store. Transportation will be provided.

City Treks (Jan. 23)

Travel to New York City to connect with employers and alumni working in high-demand industries. The structure of the day enables students to compare and contrast different work environments, missions, and industry roles, as well as make real connections with alumni and industry experts. Transportation is provided. Available treks include:

Arts at Work: Script to Screen (Jan. 26)

Take a deep dive into the ins and outs of Hollywood careers, featuring Princeton alumni working in entertainment. Panel discussions, info sessions and interactive workshops will an in-depth look at various aspects of the entertainment industry.
