Applications can be submitted through Handshake by following these steps:

• Log into Handshake.
• Go to Career Center.
• Select “Experiences.” 
• Navigate to the tab at the top labeled “Submit an Experience.” Select “Submit an Experience.” 
• Under the first question (“Experience template”), please select the Summer Social Impact Internship Fund Application 2025 from the drop-down menu and Summer 2025 from the second question’s drop down (“Term”). The rest of the questions will be our application questions.

Applicants who want to obtain housing at Princeton University over the summer must apply by April 25, 2025.

Partial applications will not be reviewed until they are completed. Students can expect to hear back around a week after submitting their applications. An application must be completed before the internship begins. Applications for an internship that is already in process will not be accepted.

Students must receive an offer to participate in an internship before they are eligible to apply for funding and must submit an application consisting of:

• A description of the internship from the nonprofit organization
• A copy of a letter or email from the nonprofit organization officially offering you the role and stating the start and end dates of the internship and the average expected hours per week
• Responses to the questions on the application form
