Getting started
These resources cover how to create an effective student profile and start to connect with others:
LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning has great content offering more than 5,000 on-demand courses on business, creative, and technology skills, and it’s available at no cost to all Princeton students, faculty and staff.

LinkedIn & TigerNet Alumni Directory
As described in Tools to Connect with Alumni, there are various ways to identify and contact Princeton alumni. While LinkedIn has a robust search feature, often their profile doesn't include a personal email address and LinkedIn's direct message feature has a character limit.
A more effective way to make contact with an alum is by using the TigerNet Alumni Directory to find an alum's email address. You can do so by:
- Entering the alum's first and last name and click "Search"
- Selecting “View Details”
- Selecting “Home Contact Information”
- The first option is the alumni’s personal email address
