Refer Employers

Employers often contact academic departments directly with job postings. We encourage you to forward these requests to the Center for Career Development for potential inclusion in our Handshake online career management system.

We use Handshake to establish and maintain relationships with organizations who wish to advertise opportunities for students and alumni. If you are contacted, feel free to refer them to us by email at recruit@princeton.edu, or provide the sender with a link to the Employers section of our website. Here, they can learn about posting opportunities, on-campus recruiting and events.

Posting Policies

All employment professionals wishing to recruit on-campus or post job and internship positions are required to accept the framework of professionally accepted recruiting, interviewing and selection techniques and guidelines. This includes the policies set forth by:

  • The Center for Career Development
  • The Nondiscrimination Policy of Princeton University
  • The NACE Principles for Professional Practice
  • The U.S. Department of Labor FLSA Guidelines, as it relates to paid vs. unpaid internships

We use these policies to ensure postings are appropriate for inclusion in our databases.
