We offer career assessments to help you identify and articulate your strengths, values, skills and interests.
- CareerExplorer helps you learn about your interests and possible career paths you can explore during your time at Princeton.
- CliftonStrengths was developed by Gallup and helps you discover or confirm your strongest talent themes to help you learn more about your strengths.
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality inventory developed by Isabel Briggs Myers and Katharine Briggs which applies Carl Jung’s theory of psychological types to help you understand more about your basic personality preferences and think through work environments that align well with your personality.
- Strong Interest Inventory is based on theories developed by psychologist John Holland and is one of the world’s most frequently used career planning tools to explore career possibilities.
You can take the CareerExplorer assessment at any time.
To take a CliftonStrengths, MBTI or Strong Interest Inventory assessment, please make an appointment with a career adviser. Advisers will work with you to determine which assessment would be most helpful, and provide instructions on how to take it.
Following any of the assessments, you can make a follow-up advising appointment to discuss the results and begin to plan your next steps.
