Undercover Bosses is a casual recruiting event for graduate students in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and engineering. Graduate students must register in Handshake to attend.
Each day, 2-3 employers who are interested in hiring Ph.D. student candidates will join the event to speak with Princeton graduate students.
The twist is - employers will not identify themselves by their company name. They will identify themselves by the skills they may be looking for in prospective employees. Many great student candidates shy away from certain companies as they do not feel they may be qualified, when this is most often not the case.
There will be three sessions over three days. Each day will feature 2-3 different employers looking for graduate student candidates with specific skill sets (e.g., research, writing skills).
Once you register for the event, you will receive a link to attend a virtual introduction panel session from 1-1:30 pm. During this mandatory 30-min introduction session, you will:
• Meet three employer representatives for a brief introduction
• Learn more about the event
• Receive Zoom links and a timeline for each employer for one-on-one or group conversations, and you can decide which employers you'd like to speak with based on the skills they are looking for
The list of participating employers with the desired skills will be updated soon.
You can upload your resume to a Undercover Bosses Resume Book: https://app.joinhandshake.com/jobs/3977121. It will be shared with employers at the end of the event for possible future contact.
