Event Description

Are you someone who is interested in the intersection of policy, analytics, and community engagement? Join this 30-minute virtual program to hear from Mayu Takeuchi ‘23 and learn more about the Brookings Institution.

The Brookings Institution is a nonprofit public policy organization based in Washington, D.C. The organization’s mission is to conduct in-depth research that leads to new ideas for solving problems facing society at the local, national and global level.

Mayu will be answering common recruitment questions and also take time to answer questions live. Common recruitment questions include:

  • What would I do if I was an intern or employee at Brookings Institution?
  • What is the recruitment timeline and application process?
  • What makes this organization a good place to work for?

Recruitment chats are short conversations with a company recruiter that offers a great opportunity to learn about various organizations in certain industries.

In the first half, the recruiter will share insights into their company’s values, culture, and recruitment timelines. The second half is your chance to ask any questions you have. Whether it’s about the work environment, available opportunities or application tips. This is your chance to network, learn, and gain a deeper understanding into industries and companies of interest.
