- Reflect on summer experience and learning
- Identify skills and personal qualities acquired or honed during the summer
- Develop at least one story that highlights those skills and personal qualities
- Understand how to connect the summer experience with the next steps
Whether you worked, studied, relaxed or did something else this past summer, you learned something. How would you tell a story highlighting your learning to potential employers? If you worked this past summer, how will you stay in touch with your colleagues?
Join Peer Career Advisers (PCAs), who are trained by the Center for Career Development, who will cover how you can craft at least one compelling story that highlights skills and qualities you gained or honed last summer, as well as how to market your experience to potential employers. You will also learn how to stay in touch with people you worked with or met and nurture those relationships.
