Interested in applying to law school, and wondering how applications are reviewed? Come to this panel and hear from law school admissions representatives from Boston College Law, Notre Dame Law, and Villanova Law for a mock law school application/file review.
During the file review portion, admissions representatives will go through short personal statements, resumes, and CAS reports. Attendees will be able to see how different admissions may make different decisions with the same information and that admissions can be/is subjective.
Additionally, attendees will be able to see that there are external factors that act on their application, such as the number of seats in an entering class or a competitive applicant pool, which could affect an admission decision that is rendered. Panelists will then have time for Q&A with attendees.
This event is co-sponsored by the pre-law advising offices of Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University.
