Event Description

Hound was founded by Princeton alum Jonathan Auerbach who would like to meet any Princeton students interested in long short investing.

Hound Partners, LP is a generalist, fundamental research driven, long short equity fund, that typically has low net exposure (~35%) and substantial gross exposure (~180-200%). We invest globally, with North America typically as the largest geography. The Fund seeks to deliver high absolute returns with low correlation to the major equity indices through a concentrated portfolio of “best ideas.” Averaging only 24% of net exposure, Hound has returned in excess of the market returns, net of all fees, over a 20-year period.

Powered by extremely deep fundamental research, Hound’s Senior Research Analysts are seasoned global generalists employing proprietary primary research methods to identify and analyze the most compelling risk return investment opportunities. The Hounds thrive in this collaborative, analytical, creative, process oriented investment culture.
