Even though you have spent several years engaged in academic research, you may find yourself considering careers beyond the lab — perhaps in a nonprofit, policy, entrepreneurial or private sector environment.

In this workshop, reflect upon and practice how to write and talk about your academic research to non-academic audiences. You will come away from the session with a clear sense of your transferable skills, structured resume content and an action plan for pursuing career opportunities outside academia.
