You'll come away from this workshop knowing how to produce a compelling cover letter -- a focused, authentic narrative highlighting themes running through multiple experiences, demonstrable understanding of the role and institution, and your rationale for wanting the role.

This workshop is part of the Academic Job Search Bootcamp, a series of programs covering the essentials of how to prepare for an academic job search. This is intended for Ph.D. students considering applying for academic jobs in fall 2025 though is open to graduate students of all years and disciplines.
