Event Description

Conveying your subject matter expertise and your commitment to discovery are crucial in the academic job market. In this workshop, learn what makes a compelling research statement and brainstorm ideas for writing about your research background. Special consideration will be given to math, engineering, and the natural sciences.

This workshop is part of the Academic Job Search Bootcamp, a series of programs covering the essentials of how to prepare for an academic job search. This is intended for Ph.D. students considering applying for academic jobs in fall 2025 though is open to graduate students of all years and disciplines.
