Workshop

  • Design Your Future (Wintersession Course)

    Thu, Jan 30, 2020, 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm

Between classes and extracurriculars, it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of Princeton and not take the time to think about your strengths and long-term goals.

This interactive workshop will help you begin to explore options and figure out what you want to do—not just what you feel pressured to do. You may have a lot of ideas about what appeals to you. Or you may have no clue, and that's OK, too.

  • Internship/Job Search Break (Wintersession Course)

  • Ph.D. Students: Talking about Your Teaching in an Academic Interview

    Thu, Dec 5, 2019, 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

This workshop gives Ph.D students the chance to begin—or refine—their preparation to talk about teaching in an interview during a campus visit.

While most graduate students and postdoctoral fellows receive ample opportunity to present their doctoral research in forums such as departmental colloquia or national conferences, they rarely talk about teaching and pedagogy in such public settings.

As a result, they may lack the preparation for speaking about their teaching in compelling terms when it may count the most: the job interview.

  • International Student Internship Search & OPT Process Workshop

    Mon, Dec 2, 2019, 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm

International students seeking an internship this summer are encouraged to attend this workshop. Learn strategies for finding internship leads, establishing connections with prospective employers and get information about work authorization requirements and timelines.
